Craft Fair this weekend

I've been in a whirl of crochet hooks, yarn, beads, pearls, lace, pictures...and LOTS of coffee;) getting ready for the craft fair this weekend. I am so excited for this opportunity and to share my hats!

I have also added a new vintage inspired "line" if you can call it that, and some new items to my store like hair accessories and jewelry that will be "debuting" at the craft fair. TOTALLY excited! and overwhelmed at my massive to-do list!

Whew, better get back to work, but I will share pictures of my booth when I get back!

Had a super fun photo session today. Put a permanent smile on my face!! You can see more on my photoblog and I will be posting more through out the week.

I bought this cute little grand piano (along with the old vintage camera that she is using in the above photograph, however you can't really see it) at an antique store near my house for a whopping ten dollars!! BEST ten dollars ever spent

And here Miss E is rocking of my hats from my Etsy shop. I have been making these hats like crazy for an upcoming craft fair coming up that I am participating it. SHE looks ADORABLE in it!!

I hope you are all having fun enjoying Fall activities! Today we went to a fun farm near by our house. It was So cute and I got some great pictures to share later.

Until then, I wanted to really quick give a small shout out to CB Portraits in Lancaster PA. She took some GORGEOUS pictures with some of my Etsy hats!! LOVE them! You can see more of her pictures in my Etsy store. If you are located in PA and need a good photographer she is your gal! :)

First of all, I wanted to thank those of you who still comment on my blog, or comment to me else where about my blog:) It always warms my heart to see the sweet messages from my friends, and I have been bad at leaving comments on everyone else's blog lately and I am sorry:( I will try to improve!

Next I wanted to give a small shout out to my brother who finished his Navy commitment a couple of weeks ago! I am so proud of him and the sacrifice he made for our country! Thanks Peter!

aww and we have been fighting the sickies like none OTHER lately! this poor guy is sick, for what seems like the cazillionth time. We had to take him to Urgent Care yesterday only to find out this poor guy has croup:( But we are on the upswing, and i am hoping it is here to stay. ( HE he and I should note this picture was taken BEFORE he got sick. LOL no worries!)

and this guy is THREE with a big FAT capital T!!!!!! silly, full of life, so super smart...

but oh SOOOOOOO naughty!

Anyway, I have added a couple more hats to my etsy store and I have a few more on my desk waiting their photo op. oo oo and I have a fun "surprise" coming up with my Etsy store. Nothing major, but still exciting, but I will share that later. Till then , here are my newbies:

This first one called the "Vintage Rose", for obvious reasons:) LOVE the big plump rose on this one!
And this one is similar to another in my shop, but I made a bigger and slightly different version for a toddler. This hat is 3T but can be made in any size:) LOVE it. I am SERIOUSLY contemplating making one for me:) I am telling you crocheting/knitting is ADDICTING:)


I do have some scrappy stuff to share next time, but you will notice, if you haven't already that I have cut down TREMENDDOUSLY on my scrapping. I have decided to stop designing for some of the AMAZING teams/stores I had been designing for. It makes me sad, but at the same time it was needed. And while I will still be scrapping, I look forward to the day that I am recharged and ready to be a complete scrapping fool once again:)

Until then, I am busy enjoying my family in this world where life goes by WAY too fast, and pursuing other ventures. BUT I assure you that I am still a picture taking fool, so I will have my work cut out for me when I am ready:) (pictures from recent maternity session)

bad blogger

but I have a good reason...
i got to hang out with this little guy yesterday and he is even CUTER in person, if that is even possible. I will have more pictures of him on my Photography Blog during the next few days, but for now, I can't decide if I like this one better in color or black and white


Isn't he ADORABLE!!!!??? He was so sweet and just curled right up for me and let me do my thing. Can't wait to process the rest of these!

AND I DID open my Etsy shop, and got around to putting ONE item in there, but it sold:) So I will have to fill it back up, with more than one hat this time LOL, and I will let ya know:) But here was my first sale. This cute little newborn hat:
